DPReview posts a gallery of sample images from Sony’s new large sensor compact. The quality of these looks really good, for a compact. Sony may be on to something here.

An interesting idea. A Nikon 1 sized sensor in a compact body. Looks like a combination of the Nikon 1 and the Canon S100. Could have potential.

I got to spend a little time with the Fuji X10. Check out my opinions after using it for a few days.
Steve Huff compares the video of both cameras. The Olympus is the clear winner, by a long shot. What’s really impressive is how well the 5-axis stabiliser works on the Olympus.
Nikon releases 28mm f 1.8g Prime Lens. Looks promising. It’s full frame and it has a reasonable price point so liokks like a winner. Not sure 28mm is the ideal focal length for a prime, but still.
Good overall review from Imaging Resource and they have a good selection of samples and analysis. It’s a bit geeky but it’s very comprehensive.
Short version….it’s very good!
